This is a big mistake people have made over the years.
There was a time when it became "vogue" to assign
every drawer on the WB disk, especially on floppy only
systems.

The utilities drawer was assigned to UTILS: & the
system drawer got assigned to....?.
............. Yes, you guessed it...... sys:

Then they spend the rest of the year trying to figure out why
stuff kept looking for things & couldn't find them.

So, just in case anyone here still doesn't know about SYS:

1) SYS: is the root dir of the "thing" you booted up on.....
2) It is automatically assigned by the O.S & you need do nothing.
3) SYS: should NEVER be assigned to anywhere else...
4) No drive or disk is to be called SYS.

So, pop up a shell & type: ASSIGN
you will get a list of all the assigned devices...
